Dry Carbon Fiber:

  Process: In wet carbon fiber manufacturing, the fibers are soaked in resin before being placed into a mold. Essentially, the dry fibers are saturated with resin and then laid into the mold.

  Advantages: The wet layup process is generally easier and more cost-effective, making it a good option when maximum strength and weight savings are not the top priority.
